The Harry Potter Saga

I'm pretty sure you know who Harry Potter is. He is a fictitious character in a book series written by the richest author in the world, J.K. Rowling. I would definitely recommend these books to you. In the first book, peculiar things start occurring in the non-magical, or Muggle, world as known by wizards. They start celebrating what seems like a dark wizard's downfall. Also, Harry's very impudent aunt and uncle (his adoptive guardians), are reacting strangely because of a letter (which turns out to be letters) addressed to him. They go so far as to stay in a horribly kept house on an island. At the moment Harry turns eleven at midnight, a gargantuan figure breaks down the door. This "figure" was a gamekeeper at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and WizardryRubeus Hagrid tells Harry that he is a wizard, and his parents were not killed in a car accident, as said by his aunt and uncle, but murdered by a dark wizard named Voldemort. Harry discovers that Voldemort attempted to murder him too, but somehow he survived, and was given a mysterious scar. The scar is a mark of symbolism between the bonds of love, as portrayed in the series. It is a very significant part of Harry. At the train station in London, Harry befriends another first-year going to Hogwarts, Ronald Bilius Weasley, the second-to-youngest child in the large, poor, but happy Weasley family, whom Harry has a strong connection throughout the entire series. In fact, he saves almost half of the Weasley family! Harry also befriends Hermione Jean Granger, an intelligent muggle-born child whose family are dentists. She always studies very hard, and helps Ron and Harry throughout the series overcoming exam obstacles. With Ron and Hermione, Harry has to discover the secrets behind the mystery in the saga.
`
In my opinion, this is an amazing, spectacular, phenomenal book series. This series is also has a very advanced vocabulary for young readers, and will enhance their learning. However though, as the books progress, the maturity level increases. I really hope that this review will change the way you see the Harry Potter series, rather than thick, boring books!

Cheers,

Rohan
